Diabetes Canada helps those affected by diabetes live healthy lives through education, research, and advocacy for access to quality care, while working to find a cure. The M.H.C.F. proceeds will go towards their D-Camps summer camp program for youth in York Region with type-1 diabetes, providing them with a real summer camp, creating independence and empowering youth to manage their diabetes, and creating the opportunity to connect with other kids who truly understand them.
